The Willamette Falls Heritage Area Coalition is pleased to celebrate the 2nd Annual Willamette Falls Festival Oct. 5-6. Last year’s festival drew over 30,000 people and raised $5,000 for One Willamette River Coalition’s efforts to reopen the Willamette Falls Navigation Locks. We hope to see even more people joining in the fun this year.

The Willamette Falls Festival will highlight the area’s heritage, culture, industry and outdoor recreational opportunities through featured activities, including fireworks, live music, an Artisan Farmers Market and Grand Ronde cultural demonstration as well as a parade, local art, a Fun-athlon (run/paddle/bike), 5K Fun Run and more.

Willamette Falls Festival  activities will highlight the area’s heritage, arts and culture, as well as its natural wonders and outdoor activities.

Proceeds from the Willamette Falls Festival will benefit We Love Clean Rivers, a 501(c)3 non‐profit organization dedicated to both broadening public engagement with river restoration activities and increasing the recreation community’s understanding of threats to watershed health.

About the sponsoring organization: Willamette Falls Heritage Area Coalition (WFHAC).

WFHAC seeks to protect, enhance and share the unique cultural heritage of the Willamette Falls region encompassing the significant heritage sites in West Linn, Oregon City, Lake Oswego, and Clackamas County.  A major goal is obtaining federal designation as a National Heritage Area and state designation as an Oregon Heritage Area.
